Social trends as strategic challenge for sustainable management
If the state is the owner or even shareholder of a corporation, the corporation has not only to deal with economic questions but also with the justification of a social responsibility in policy. Especially in crisis, the responsibility for social on one hand and economic issues on the other hand seem to lead the corporation into a conflict.
The Thesis will especially focus on companies, which are under the influence of the state, so the question appears: how can the probable conflict between social engagement and profit be solved in a company? The answer to this strategic and communication problem might be the integration of social trends into the strategic management of the company. Is there a chance to create a win-winsituation, where sustainability has an effort for economy and also policy?
