The Moral Economy of Consumption in Europe. Critical Consumption in an Era of Globalization.
Sebastian’s research focuses on the embededdness of critical consumption practices and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In his work he seeks to show how boycotts of products and the purchases of eco and fair labelled goods are triggered, structured and conditioned by the economic, cultural and political contexts of individual consumers across Europe. Furthermore he is interested in how institutions affect patterns of corporate giving and volunteering in small and medium enterprises.
